Responsibilities

You will be:

• Conducting experimental research of machine learning algorithms.
• Implementing these algorithms and surrounding infrastructure for production environments.

You will be dealing with:

• Datasets typically containing millions of events per day (and more).
• Various algorithmic challenges in the field of machine learning: feature engineering and selection, hyperparameter optimization, technical performance optimization and much more.
• Systems which aim to continuously apply these algorithms in a robust, scalable and adaptable fashion.
• Short- and long-term financial effect as the ultimate measure of any algorithms efficiency.

Requirements

• Has decent knowledge of math with particular focus on linear algebra, calculus, probability theory, statistics.
• Has decent fundamental CS knowledge (algorithms, data structures etc).
• Is experienced in designing and implementing computational and data processing algorithms.
• Is experienced in adapting and tuning machine learning algorithms for a specific problem.
• Has decent knowledge of one of Scala, Java, C++, Python.
