MetaMap is growing fast, and you are the one to help it scale, and keep the teams creating quality increments. You will be in one team with our Head of Scrum in driving organizational and engineering agility forward. MetaMap uses an Agile Framework (not calling it Scrum as it’s a bit different internally) that employs elements of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean approaches. Your job is to work with teams to follow this framework and help shape it to be better. We are always open to changes, especially if they’re efficient.
We have 8 cross-functional distributed teams (react, node.js, python) and we are about to grow ~twice in the coming year. So your job, in the beginning, would be getting to know the teams and work directly with 2-3 to ensure they improve and work cohesively. Work with Agile Training, help the teams to evolve, teach them technical excellence. You will have all the support you need, but keep in mind that we want you to be proactive and transparent about that.
