Project description

Their product is focused on AI in retail and it includes:

• Analytics interface. This is a constructor which works with set of metrics and generates client dashboards + reports.
• Reactive interface. Task manager which shows a tree of tasks to act on specific internal problems to decrease % of lost sales.
• Machine learning service that enriches data with predictions.
• ETL to collect retailer’s data.

Responsibilities

• Define and monitor quality parameters for ML models in production.
• Re-train and re-deploy models based on quality parameters collected in continuous monitoring.
• Define and operate data handling routines to supply required training data to training jobs.
• Version the training data and record data, trained models, and quality parameters of these models.
• Shape and operate best practices for managing models in production.
• Maintain a high-quality standard for all ML models in production.
• Proactively communicating with other team members, ETL team and project stakeholders.
• Be a part of data science team to take over newly developed models into production, and advise data science teams if model redesign should be considered.

Mandatory skills

• 2+ years of work experience in software development (Python 3+).
• Practical working experience with automated deployment and orchestration (CI/CD, Docker).
• Experience in applying machine learning methods to retail data sets.
• Solid knowledge of data science quality assurance methodologies and tools.
• Industrial experience in machine learning production workflows will be considered an advantage.
• Strong communication skills.
• PySpark 2.4+ experience.

Nice-to-have skills:

• ClickHouse or any other column-oriented DBMS.
• ETL processes understanding.
