Data Engineer

You will

• Enhance and optimize the existing data infrastructure and related services.
• Build and refine APIs in collaboration with end-users to meet their specific requirements.
• Ensure efficient onboarding of both structured and alternative data providers.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers to fully grasp their current needs and anticipate future requirements.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of vendor data to master its unique properties and inconsistencies.
• Develop and maintain robust ETL-processes using advanced technologies, including comprehensive quality control testing.
• Improve data input/output operations and balance loads effectively for grid computing.
• Streamline and automate the management of data storage.

What makes you a great fit

• 5 years experience as a Data Engineer in a startup or fast-paced environment, experience supporting Financial Products/Reference Data.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with AWS, Hadoop, Spark.
