We are looking for a Database Administrator (with MySQL, Percona XtraDB Cluster knowledge) to join our team in Cyprus.

This is an onsite job, relocation to Cyprus is mandatory.

Duties and opportunities

Analysis and optimisation of slow queries.
SQL consultation for developers.
Monitoring of MySQL servers.
Monitoring of backup execution.
Support for high-load clusters.

Requirements

Experience with MySQL — at least 5 years.
Experience in administration Percona XtraDB Cluster, MariaDB — at least 3 years.
Experience in tuning and optimisation of MySQL.
Skill to optimize SQL queries, build indexes.
Experience with Percona Toolkit components.
Experience with Linux and its components — at least 3 years.
At least Intermediate level of English.
