Senior Python/MLOps Engineer

What you will do

• Develop ML Infrastructure: construct and maintain advanced ML infrastructure utilizing Docker orchestration to ensure compatibility and performance across Windows, Linux, and macOS (including arm64 devices).
• Optimize Network and Security: enhance networking and VPN configurations for optimized security and efficiency, implementing robust security protocols for running proprietary workloads on client machines with minimal access.
• Collaboration: work closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee the seamless integration and operation of our platform, contributing to its continual improvement.
• Code Quality: write clean, maintainable code, and produce comprehensive high-quality documentation to support the development and deployment processes.

Key qualifications

• Python Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python, with specific experience in ML infrastructure, Docker, and containerization. Familiarity with Asyncio, Redis, and Docker libraries in Python, with a preference for candidates having production work experience.
• Networking and Security: Solid understanding of networking principles, VPN technologies, and best practices in containerization security.
• Ray.io Knowledge: Experience with or a strong willingness to quickly master ray.io, as it is integral to our platform's operation.
• Performance Optimization: Proven ability to troubleshoot and enhance performance across a variety of hardware and software configurations, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency and security.
• Testing Proficiency: Strong ability in writing tests in Python, with candidates experienced in Test-Driven Development (TDD) highly regarded.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong communication skills and a commitment to achieving collective goals.
• Experience — a Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience, is required. (Can be adjusted if a very close fit is found). Previous experience with open source contributions mentioned to the tech above is extremely favorable.

Conditions

• The position requires a 6 day working week until May 1st, the salary will be raised by 20% for this period.
