Senior Risk Data Scientist (FinTech Startup)

You will

• Work with a wide range of behavioral and transactional data.
• Own Risk and Business Intelligence function (operations, analytics, and reporting).
• Develop data-driven champion / challenger decisions strategies to automate credit origination.
• Design and deploy traditional and advanced machine learning (ML) models to iteratively improve business-critical models and systems that understand a user's behavior and credit risk.
• Build source-of-truth credit portfolio and risk analysis dashboards to keep team fingers on the pulse.
• Conduct in-product user research to fuel engineering & product teams with insights.
• Provide support and guidelines along customers' journeys, ensure customer satisfaction and high-quality credit risk assessment / underwriting.

You got or can

• BA or soon-to-BA in engineering, statistics, physics, math, economics, or similar from a top university.
• Experience with financial services / credit risk management is a bonus.
• Break complex problems into smaller ones.
• Initiative, courage, and self-sufficiency.
• Enjoy working with data and using tools such as SQL, Python, or SAS.
• Good business English writing skills.
