Lead JavaScript Developer

Weigandt Consulting is an international IT consulting company with headquarter in Germany, clients from Europe, engineering centres in Armenia, and employees around the globe.
We are looking for a Principal Frontend developer for a long-term project with a global retailer from the United Kingdom. This is a new project starting from scratch on a modern technology stack.
Main responsibilities
- Participate in system design and solutions discussions.
- Implementing new product functionality.
- Regular interaction with clients for refinement sessions, planning, and stand-up meetings.
- Maintenance of an existing codebase, participation in Code Review sessions.
- Contributing to the application architecture design.
- Contributing to UI design and technical solutions discussions.
- Preparing technical documentation.
Skills and experience required
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience with JS.
- Good to have experience with Node.js, TypeScript, WebSockets, SASS / LESS, PostCSS.
- Good to have experience with web-app performance optimization, including React-based.
- Good to have experience with testing methodologies (end-to-end, unit, integration, etc).
- Upper-Intermediate English (B2) writing and speaking skills.
