Locals.org is a social discovery app that aims to turn every meet-up or experience into an opportunity to do good within your community. Locals will connect based on their shared passions and interests, but also prompted by a desire to support a cause that means a lot to them.

What you will be doing
- Collaborating closely with other members: QA, Design, Product Managers, React Native Developers teams.
- Developing new features in the product’s REST API and maintaining the existing ones.
- Optimizing the performance of the application.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the delivery of Python-based backend projects.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong prioritisation skills and verbal communication skills. Good team player.
- Django / FastAPI.
- REST API, Django REST Framework.
- PostgreSQL / ElasticSearch / Firebase.
- GCP Pubsub / RabbitMQ / Redis Streams.
- GCP / AWS.
- Docker / K8s.
- Traefik / Nginx.
- Familiarity with automated build and test systems for CI/CD (Github Actions).
