Senior Backend Developer

We are a promising startup based in Silicon Valley run by remote workers all around the world with an exciting active app used by hundreds of thousands of users. This is an extremely rewarding opportunity with lots of potential.
We're in need of motivated and experienced Backend Developers with extensive production experience with Firebase and GCP.
Responsibilities
- We currently have a system that needs to be recreated and improved according to the business requirements.
- You'll be working side-by-side with a small and proactive team and be helped by our Head of Engineering.
The main focus will be developing Firebase serverless functions and maintaining the current infrastructure. The main features include push notifications, content upload, and streaming. The backend serves a Flutter mobile application.
Requirements for this Role
We're looking for full-time availability starting as soon as possible already early this week.
- Ideally 8+ years of experience with Backend engineering.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Firebase or other back end programs.
- Required experience using JIRA (or similar product management software), Git / Bitbucket, Agile.
- Experience in developing automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hardcore, ready to move fast and break things.
As a plus:
Knowledge of Flutter.
