Senior Fullstack Engineer

What we do

Between is a meeting performance management tool. It helps teams gain visibility over their work culture and boost productivity by removing unnecessary meetings and adopting best practices.

We analyze thousands of meetings in Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams and enrich them with data from other sources to answer questions like:

• What are the meetings that could have been an email.
• Whose productivity is impacted by poor scheduling.
• Do employees have enough time to focus on work.
• Is anyone excluded from important communication.
• Which of your rituals are formal, and which really deliver value.

How we work

• The team is distributed between the EU and US, with HQ in San Francisco.
• We plan our weekly sprints on Monday kick-off calls and do company-wide demos on Fridays.
• We run short daily stand-ups with the dev and product teams to keep everyone in the loop.
• Our toolset includes GitLab, Slack, Linear, Notion, Figma, and Miro.
• We believe in processes, but try to keep things simple.

What you will do

We’re looking for a Senior Full-stack Engineer to join our core development team. Our current roadmap includes:

• Integrations with major communication platforms and products used by remote teams: Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, calendars.
• A desktop app that helps run post-meeting polls, display notifications, and more.
• An analytics dashboard that combines the data from multiple sources and gives the user insights on how to improve their meeting experience.

By joining our team as a Senior Engineer, you would have a chance to contribute to all of these parts, playing a key role in designing the architecture and developing the system.

What you will need

• 3+ years of experience in web app development.
• Experience with JS / TS, Node and React.
• Experience working with databases (we use PostgreSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Vercel.
• Good level of English.
• Willingness to relocate outside of Russia or Belarus in a few months.

It would be nice to have:

• Experience working on analytics dashboards.
• Experience building apps for communication (chats, meetings, etc).
• Experience developing cross-platform desktop apps with Electron.
• Deep understanding of TypeScript.
