QA Automation (Emplanner/In-house Projects)

Emplanner — is a web application that helps to manage working time, collect statistics on the efficiency of work performed, solving problems of business process optimization, payments and other important for the Company production tasks. Emplanner is an integral part of the order delivery workflow, whose main task is to optimize the working time and efficiency of employees who are involved in drawing up orders.
In order for the business to deliver the work done on time, it is important to prioritize and optimize the automatic assignment of tasks, which directly affects the KPI of the business. This is exactly what our team does, so we always have a lot of interesting, diverse development. The project started just over a year and a half ago, so we use a fresh technology stack and almost no legacy.
Responsibilities
- Create test plans and test cases.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts to reduce manual regress test activities.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs in Jira.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Participate in the development of an autotesting strategy, one of the goals of which is to reduce regression at release.
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
- Together with the team, identify the necessary application scenarios for autotest coverage and subsequently develop UI tests.
Future goals after onboarding period:
- Creating integration tests.
- Participate in high-load and performance testing.
Requirements
- Experience in UI test development.
- Proven work experience in software development.
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
- Basic knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Experience with performance and / or security testing is a plus.
- Load testing experience is a plus.
- Experience with autotests: JMeter, Selenium.
- English level: From B1-2. We use it to communicate with colleagues in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. We diligently maintain and use documentation in English, and we have a weekly practice of conducting calls in English.

Test tasks
- Write a test plan (script) for the login form in gmail.
- Cover the script with selenium (if necessary).
For a salary you must be able to work legally outside Russia and the Republic of Belarus (to open a PE in other countries), and be able to receive wages from the German bank, that is required a valid account outside Russia and Belarus.

This includes, e.g., working with equirectangular, phone, or satellite images to detect doors, windows, or other objects inside of buildings or finding facets on the roof. You’ll be challenged by solving complex 3D geometry problems and working closely with our labeling team to ensure the best possible data quality.
