Building a world-class messaging platform means building top quality design tools, and that’s just what we’re doing at SimpleTexting and MessageMedia. We’re looking for an experienced product designer to help establish a new multi-theme design system that will be leveraged in our new flagship product.
As a product designer on our global team, you will design UI components, foundational UX patterns, and tools. You will also work on defining and improving processes that enable designers and developers to create consistent, high-quality user experiences. You will report to design system lead and work closely with Product Designers, Developers, and Product Owners.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a Designer who has 3+ years as a product designer or a frontend designer. A Designer who has systematic thinking and is able to distinguish complex structures into smaller logical parts. An individuals who can explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical people. A Designer that has the ability to make a balanced estimation of the potential consequences of changes in the design system. An expert in understanding contemporary HTML and CSS on a basic level, and is interested in working on components and tools for other designers rather than working on product design directly. A top applicant has strong visual design skills and advanced knowledge of Figma.
