The Software Development Company is looking for an Oracle Database Engineer to join its team!

The position requires immediate relocation to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The company takes care of relocation including flight tickets, visa, and insurance.

Successful candidates will have an opportunity to work with an international team of professionals on impactful projects, that affect the safety of millions of people.

Job Responsibilities

Write programs and scripts as per the request.
Perform debugging of Oracle scripts, Bash, and Java programs.
Coordinate and resolve data structure changes among teams.
Monitor databases and related systems to ensure optimized performance.
Monitor databases’ scheduled jobs, and cron jobs, and troubleshoot the related systems to ensure optimized performance.

Required qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of full-time experience with Oracle DB.
English language — candidates should be able to freely communicate about their work.
Strong experience with writing complex SQL using analytic functions.
Strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL with functions, procedures, triggers, and packages.
Experience in development & basic administration of Oracle Database 11g,12c, or 19c including single-instance and RAC.
Understanding of ETL process.
Basic administration and development experience with Neo4j, ElasticSearch, or Redis is a plus.
Java programming skills and experience with the Maven build tool is a plus.
Linux command line knowledge.
Scripting experience with Bash.
Ability to google efficiently.
