Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data transformation pipelines.
• Develop, extend, maintain data analytics and reporting tools according to requirements.
• Prepare metadata and extract KPIs for analysis and evaluation by subject matter experts and function developers.
• Report on progress and issues within a self-organized Scrum team.
• Structured and result-oriented way of working.
• Be involved in the entire project cycle from analyzing requirements to crafting tasks, facilitate designs, build, test, provide operational documentation and user guidance.
• Proactively come up with solutions and optimization ideas.

Skills

• Data Engineering, ETL.
• Python.
• Elasticsearch.
• Perform Big Data Engineering, from user requirements to production-ready implementation.
• Analyze source data, design data schema and transformation. Develop the ETL application with Python, incl. ingestion into Elasticsearch. Be proficient working with Elasticsearch from index creation to querying.
