We are looking for a Senior/Lead Product designer to lead design for our core product. The right person will be able to grow with the company with the opportunity to lead/own design strategy and grow the team / department. This is a ‘beautiful challenge’ to ‘take you to a new place’ in your career.

Your work here will shape the way that professionals in the construction industry interact with their work logs, submissions, earnings, and even job opportunities. Konstructly’s first-of-its-kind workforce management app connects tradesmen and construction companies (subcontractors) and later we envisage connecting all entities in the supply chain (main contractors and developers) too.

We are replacing all paper systems and duplication of work (believe us, there are a lot of these instances!) in managing and hiring tradesmen and using the data generated to provide holistic views of project health, progress, and output.

Your responsibilities

Creation and ownership of our Design System, providing scalable UI solutions.
Working closely with the co-founders to drive the future vision for our core product.
Designing an industry-changing product with a highly engaging, simple & logical UX.
Deliver ready-to-dev design in 1-2 iterations.
User interviews enable a deep understanding of multiple user types.

What we are looking for in you

Excellent communication, documentation and facilitation skills.
5+ years experience in UX and UI design.
Detail-oriented yet able to zoom out to create a cohesive overall experience.
Expansive creative thinking skills.
Autonomy, drive and readiness to fail.
Previous experience mentoring designers is a big plus.
Previous high-growth start-up experience is also valued.
