Automation QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop new and improve currently existing testing tooling.
• Develop and maintain testing infrastructure and automated tests.
• Automation of test results management (storing, archiving, searching, analysis).
• Debug and troubleshoot test results and work with component development teams to analyze them.
• Work with geographically distributed international teams on technical challenges and quality improvements.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and techniques (functional, non-functional, integration, system, HA & failover, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of UNIX or Linux operating environments.
• Coding abilities using Python and shell scripting.
• Experience with GIT.
• Experience with REST API.
• Experience with CIS like Jenkins.
• Good English communication skills (Intermediate), both written and verbal.
• Motivated and dedicated to learning and collaboration.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly.

The following are considered a plus:

• Experience with virtualization software.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a big plus.
• Experience with public cloud providers: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon AWS, OpenStack based.
• Experience with RHEL.
• Understanding of advanced networking concepts.
• GoLang knowledge is a big plus.
