Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Active participation in the design and development of crucial components of Agilent’s products (using: C#, .Net Core, HTML5, REST, WCF, WPF, Entity Framework, and various databases like MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Firebird).
• Active influence on such aspects of projects life as development and planning, architecture design, work, and appearance of each project.
• Close work with Agilent employees from the US, Europe, and Australia in a collaborative development environment.
• Introduction and maintenance of the best development life-cycle practices.
• Participation in technical mentoring for newcomers and less experienced engineers, driving their growth and professional development.
• Friendly and warm team environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in .Net development.
• Solid understanding of software engineering practices, coding, and code review.
• Technical background in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms.
• Experience in .Net LINQ.
• Knowledge of database technologies.
• Ability to solve complex technical tasks, provide and analyze different solutions, estimate their impact.
• Proactive at technical solutions (suggest product, architecture, and process improvements).
• Excellent knowledge of software development life cycle, Agile methodologies.
• Good soft and communication skills.
• Good in written and spoken English (Upper-Intermediate or higher).

It would be a plus:

• WPF.
• Web-development, design and development REST API with .Net Core.
• Cloud solutions and microservices architecture.
