Full Stack Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with a distributed team of mobile WebAR and data engineers to build interactive AR technology, computer vision, machine learning, data analytics, and 3D web media.
• Full stack web development and design for CMS web application, intractable video player overlay experience, web-based AR rendering and interactive display.
• Design, implement, test, deploy, and troubleshoot a scalable and high quality web-based augmented reality authoring platform using shared libraries and systems.
• Apply cutting edge research and techniques in the field of image and object recognition, neural networks, computer vision.
• Lead by example, conduct regular design and code reviews, execute bug fixes, and ensure exceptional code quality. Carefully evaluate technical trade offs of every decision.
• Develop and integrate image/object recognition, and machine learning services as part of an interactive SaaS WebAR publishing platform and media server.
• Full feature development for Geenee interactive WebAR platform and related technology.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications

• Excellent understanding of JavaScript event loop; JSONS chema, asynchronous request handling, and DOM.
• Client Side: ReactJS, Redux, HTML5/CSS, AngularJS, or similar UI frameworks.
• Server Side: AWS, Kubernetes, EKS, RDS, Cloudfront and S3; NodeJs, Koa, ExpressJs, VAST/VPAID.
• Database: PostgreSQL; MySQL with ObjectionJS (ORM), DynamoDB.
• REST API: Elixir / Phoenix / Ecto based microservices.
• Version Control: Git/Github.
• Code bundlers (Webpack, Parcel).
• TDD: Jest and Enyzme.
• Agile Workflow: JIRA/Confluence.

Preferred qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a professional full stack software engineer.
• Computer Science degree, with strong algorithms, data structures, problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Web GL, Canvas, WebXR, SceneViewer and AR tools: Lens Studio, Unity, ARCore, ARKit, Metavrse, Maya.
• Experience optimizing JavaScript performance and browser layout rendering.
• Write and implement custom dockerfiles to run/host services.
• Experience with payment systems, processing and or complex API integrations.
