Lead DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Job responsibilities

• Create IaC in AWS.
• AWS Infrastructure Automation with Cloud Formation.
• Application Containerization (EKS, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD Setup (Jenkins, AWS Code Build, AWS Code Pipeline).
• Automate deployment and delivery for development lifecycle.
• Project Documentation (Diagrams, Architecture Design, Instructions, Handover documents).
• Communications with the customer in English (emails, Slack chat, work sessions).

Required skills and experience

• Experience with all aspects of DevOps (source control, continuous integration, deployments, etc.) — 3+ years (Lead engineer experience is a big plus).
• Experience with creation and implementation of AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Linux Server or Windows Server support (3-5 years).
• Expertise with key AWS services: AWS EC2, EBS, RDS, EKS, SQS, SSM.
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL — administration, migration experience.
• Automation experience: Terraform, Ansible.
• Orchestration: Kubernetes, OpenShift.
• CI/CD: Jenkins is a must, AWS CodePipeline, Tekton as a plus.
• Scripting: Bash, Python and/or other programming skills.
• High level of English (C1-C2) oral and written is a must.
