Engineer Automation QA

Responsibilities

• Work in a scrum team of QA and software engineers to ensure the high quality of autotests.
• Design and development of test cases and their automatization.
• Execute autotest and debug results.
• Creating backend tests or UI autotests.
• Support the development team through testing phases, ensuring the accurate functionality of features and products.
• Provide a high level of test coverage for MetaMap products.
• Analyze and estimate the testing coverage area.
• Work with test documentation.
• Improve and sustain the existing test processes.

Skills

• Experience in Automation QA of complex projects (web-services/ backends/ mobile applications).
• Python knowledge -enough for testing automation.
• Experience in automatization of Web or backend parts of the system.
• Knowledge of frameworks and configurations of CI.
• Familiar with writing and execution of autotests.
• Knowledge of bug tracking systems.
• Understanding the data exchange protocols, knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS protocols.
• Proven experience with JSON, XML, XHR.
• Familiar with REST and API testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of Web-related technologies.
• Familiar with the concept of automatization, concept of end-to-end.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a distributed team.

Bonus:

• Experience working with MongoDB.
• Strong knowledge of Jira.
• Experience in load testing.
