MetaMap is on a mission to make trusting strangers online effortless. We want to enable builders in fast-growing, underserved regions with the digital identity and reputation tools they need to provide better trust-based services to more people.

We are looking for a qualified Mobile developer to join our Engineering team. You will be working with our engineers to develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications.

If you’re passionate about mobile platforms and translating code into user-friendly apps, we would like to meet you. As a Mobile developer, you’ll collaborate with internal teams to develop functional mobile applications, while working in a fast-paced environment.

Ultimately, you should be able to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.

Stack

SwiftiOS SDKOOPCI/CDCL

Responsibilities

Support MetaMap iOS SDK (framework) distributed via CocoaPods.
Support several of our cross-platform plugins that allow connecting with our native SDK's (React Native, Flutter Cordova/Ionic, Capacitor).
Work closely in cooperation with Backend, design, leadership team.

Skills

Good working experience with Swift.
Good knowledge of iOS SDK.
Familiar with the latest mobile application trends and technologies.
Deep knowledge of mobile frameworks at the OS level.
Familiarity with OOP design principles.
Familiarity CI/CD and CL (localization).
A strong belief that writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code is the best way to work.
Fluency in English.

Bonus:

Working experience with Unit tests.
Working experience with WebSocket.
Working experience with Libraries and Frameworks for iOS as creator / maintainer.
