We’re on the hunt for a Java Developer to join our new Wealth Development team. You’ll be helping to develop Paysend’s payment Investment system, creating the crypto transfers experience and investment products for our users.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need a highly analytical mind, and a close attention to detail. We have a flat structure at Paysend, and you’ll be expected to share your ideas and opinions about how we can keep improving. As we continue to grow and innovate, you’ll be challenged constantly, and no two days will be the same!

Responsibilities

Contribute to setting up development process for a new team.
Contribute to architecture decisions of a backend system.
Development of server API for the application.
Debugging and eliminating errors / failures.
Integrating with 3rd party partner APIs.

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of server-side Kotlin or Java (5+ years).
PostgreSQL / Kafka.
TDD or other proven ability to test your code.
Design patterns.

Desired Skills/Competencies/Experiences

Cryptocurrency market interest or experience.
Relevant experience building fintech / investment products.
Docker / Kubernetes.
