Android Engineering Lead

Responsibilities

• Create superfast, easy-to-use applications.
• Develop, test, deploy, maintain and optimize Binance App.
• Build libraries and frameworks that support complex client-side applications.
• Speed up development efficiency and improve code quality.
• Lead Android Infrastructure team to build the next-generation architecture, ensuring future-proof capabilities.

Requirements

• Solid foundation in Computer Science, knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Object-oriented design, and concurrent programming.
• 5+ years of experience on the Android platform and practical experience in Kotlin.
• Experience in designing and maintaining large-scale systems, managing large codebases, and applying modularization techniques.
• Comprehensive understanding of Android UI architecture, underlying mechanisms, and the source code of popular libraries.
• Practical experience in performance optimization, monitoring, network (security) programming, and unit/automated UI testing.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have

• Active Github portfolio.
• Portfolio of published apps in Google Play Store.
• Knowledge of iOS programming or web development.
• Understanding of the underlying mechanisms of conventional cross-platform techniques, such as JSBridge, React Native/Weex, Flutter, etc.
