Placid Money is an ambitious fintech that changes how Americans use $1T of credit card debt.
We are looking for a curious Product/UX designer with prior experience in mobile-first consumer fintech. Placid is building innovative lending products, that combine familiar but complex concepts in a new way. We strive to deliver them to consumers in the most simplistic and clear way possible.

It's a great opportunity for those who love autonomy, fast-pace environment, extended responsibility and steep learning curves — you'll be on the early team of an ambitious fintech, working with the founder/CEO and contributing most directly to the performance of the product, as well as positively affecting lives of millions of consumers.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop UX for the core features of the mobile app.
- Use exiting design system to implement first pass of UX; then polish with UI tweaks, working with UI team/agency.
- Analyze user feedback, conduct user research and incorporate the outcomes into UX design.
- Work with the product team to balance business goals with UX.
- Work with the engineering team to balance tech constraints with UX.
Requirements
- Mobile fintech/consumer experience — case studies, portfolio.
- Ability to quickly discover best practices in the market and adapt them to other use cases.
- Unlimited curiosity.
- Advanced English skills (C1/2).
- Figma pro.
