Senior QA Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a talented and inquisitive engineer with developer in testing skill, focused on creating and maintaining the comprehensive set of auto-tests that will cover use-cases for automation systems to deploy and upgrade K8s clusters in a repeatable way for our customers. You will be working internally with our professional services team, cloud operations, and customer engineering teams to define enhancements and fixes that cover all aspects of the product’s lifecycle and get the thing done!

Responsibilities

• Improve and maintain the existing set of autotests that is used to cover K8s and Openstack (System-under-test or SUT) deployments and upgrades.
• Troubleshooting of different issues that may occur after upgrade to the new version of SUT and adjust the tests as needed.
• Work with a geographically distributed team.

Requirements

• Strong developer in test experience.
• Strong knowledge of Python.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of k8s.
• 3+ years of Linux system administration experience.

Nice to have:

• Openstack certification.
• CKA(D) or similar certificate.
• Production Operations experience.
