Paxful is searching for a Senior QA Automation Engineer who is great at developing automated tests and building infrastructure around them to join our Platform or Back-office Team. This role will contribute to improving the quality of products and decreasing the time-to-market of new features.
Responsibilities
- Build a test automation and infrastructure for Paxful.
- Write functional, E2E, performance automation tests to reduce manual regression testing.
- Collaborate with fellow QA Engineers to develop and improve effective test strategies.
- Develop and maintain automated tests.
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
- Work closely with stakeholders on product features.
- Help to troubleshoot, test and maintain the product.
- Follow company coding standards.
Requirements
The most important skill and capabilities:
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a QA engineer.
- Minimum 3-year hands-on writing automated tests.
- Experience in building QA automation for a new project from scratch.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot bugs.
- Solid knowledge of QA methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of specifications.
- Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced and informal environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ideally, if you also have:
- Knowledge of financial markets, banking, or exchanges.
- Experience with microservices.
- Interest in cryptocurrencies.
