QA Engineer

DocuSketch — an international company headquartered in Potsdam (Germany), that makes products for the North American market.
Clients are companies engaged in repairing damage and houses after hurricanes, freezing rains, fires, etc. With the help of their mobile application and a spherical 360° camera, customers create a virtual tour to document the damage and count towards the insurance.
They also provide a service for drawing 2D floor plans in an editor they've developed, in which they constantly integrate the latest AI/ML solutions to automate and speed up the process. Plans are drawn by their team overnight so that the next morning the client already has a ready-made plan that he uses in his work.
DocuSketch has already become an indispensable tool for hundreds of companies, which they use literally every day. Gradually, DocuSketch becomes a very important part of their processes and a key link.
They are currently preparing new services for their clients. They are actively growing and looking for a person who cares about creating interesting and complex products that solve real problems.
Main responsibilities
- Participates in reviews of business requirements and application designs.
- Ensures existence of proper test coverage based on design specifications and requirements.
- Develops and/or maintains manual test suits and cases for web and mobile apps.
- Writes and reproduces accurate software issues.
- Ensures the test environment reflects business requirements for the test execution.
- Creates business relevant test cases.
- Executes manual test scripts for multiple or complex projects.
- Establishes testing acceptance criteria.
- Ensures execution of project regression testing tasks.
- Analyzes and reports on overall test status and results.
- Support regression tests for projects.
- Writing automation tests in the future.
Requirements
- 2+ years of related work experience.
- Experience in testing mobile applications.
- Good knowledge of testing processes, methodologies, and standards.
- Good understanding of Mobile Application Testing techniques.
- Good understanding of the software process including analysis, design, coding, system integration, UAT.
- Experience working on web and mobile projects.
- Knowledge of the Agile methodology and related testing techniques.
- Jira, Wiki (Confluence).
- Web debugging tools (Postman, Fiddler, Charles, Developer console).
- HTML, JS, REST API.
- Test case management tools.
- Test automation experience with Java, TestNG, REST Assured, Cucumber, JS, CodeceptJS as a plus.

This includes, e.g., working with equirectangular, phone, or satellite images to detect doors, windows, or other objects inside of buildings or finding facets on the roof. You’ll be challenged by solving complex 3D geometry problems and working closely with our labeling team to ensure the best possible data quality.
