They are looking for a senior frontend engineer to join their application team, that they want to make smooth and high-quality.
In Bricks, they are building next-generation spreadsheet software. They are looking for a team member — a frontend engineer who knows how to build beautiful and technically complex web projects (similar complexity and level of polish as Figma or Notion).
You will work together with several likely-minded team members who also used to build the types of projects described above. More importantly, they are great, friendly people to work with. The company's CEO is a Standford alumnus with experience in building a 2bln$ company.
Ideally you
- Understand how to make frontend fast (60 fps without hiccups), scalable (250k+ LoCs), and beautiful (their senior ex-Google designer will help with that).
- Appreciate TypeScript and good test coverage.
- Understand dos and donts of working with React & DOM, comfortable using performance/memory profiler.
- Detail-oriented. You love the craft as they do.
Company offers
Other than a competitive monthly salary and a distributed team, they can offer an option package of the amount of 0.15-0.3% of the total company's worth.
