Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for maintenance and development of peppersq.com software to ensure the ecommerce platform is fast, reliable, easy to use and provides the most sought-after digital experience to customers.
• You will oversee Platform Architecture, Infrastructure, Code Deployment, Tracking, Automation and CI/CD pipelines, plan and execute new projects, source code auditing, and find ways to empower engineering teams to build better products by default.
• You must have an interest in working with colleagues to understand their products and customers, improve existing features and initiate new and exciting ones.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing and building production-level web applications in large-scale consumer facing platforms (ideally e-commerce, marketplace, gaming industry).
• Excellent knowledge of prevailing procedures and techniques, latest trends and innovations in e-commerce and VR/AI space.
• Experienced in standard front-end technologies like modern HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, and JSON.
• Proficiency with Angular, React, Redux, Webpack (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with at least one of two AWS/GCP required.
• Experience with modern unit testing frameworks and SOLID code writing.
• Understanding of front-end architecture, building large-scale single-page web applications, multiple database connectivity, visual applications.
• Able to develop innovative solutions, identify open source code to deploy and adjust and develop future strategies.
• Ability to lead through change and ambiguity, able to work under minimal direction and excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication with strong writing skills.
