Senior/Lead Backend Engineer with Java & Scala

What you'll be doing:

• Building new and enhancing existing systems - Revolut was founded in 2015, codebase is young, modern, and has been tested.
• Work includes, but is not limited to: building APIs, developing microservices, evolving architecture, and many many more. You build it, you run it.
• Their backend is written predominantly in Java 11. Unique about this role is a chance to work on the Scala codebase.
• They have a minimalist approach to using external frameworks, with emphasis on maintainability and fast turnaround with TDD, DDD, and Continuous Integration & Delivery.

What you'll need:

• Fluency with Java and Scala.
• years (or above) experience in back-end development.
• Quick learner with an ambitious and results-driven personality.
• Work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Flexible working hours.
• English.
