Test Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Definition of validation strategy for software products and individual features.
• Design, development and support of test frameworks and automated tests.
• Investigation and debug of test failures.
• Preparation of validation documentation and reports.
• Automation of validation process in Continuous Integration system.
• Research of new test areas, approaches and solutions.

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field (Master's degree is preferred).
• Deep knowledge of software test methodologies.
• Experience in automated software testing.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Good programming skills (Python is the preferred language).
• Desire to understand and address root causes of issues, not just symptoms.
• Ability to work in multitask environment.
• Technical English (Intermediate or higher level is preferred).

Additional qualifications that will be a plus:

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration systems (TeamCity/Jenkins).
• Knowledge of software development practices.
• Knowledge of design patterns and how to create modular, scalable designs.
• Ability to write clean code and cover it by unit tests.
• Understanding of software development tools ecosystem.
• Experience in programming for Windows, Linux and macOS.
