Intel creates world-changing technology that enriches the lives of every person on earth.
They're looking for Validation and Test Engineer to develop automated tests and participate in final validation of Intel Software Development Products. You will collaborate with various international teams, work with different types of hardware and software, and contribute to geo-distributed validation system.
Responsibilities
- Definition of validation strategy for software products and individual features.
- Design, development and support of test frameworks and automated tests.
- Investigation and debug of test failures.
- Preparation of validation documentation and reports.
- Automation of validation process in Continuous Integration system.
- Research of new test areas, approaches and solutions.
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field (Master's degree is preferred).
- Deep knowledge of software test methodologies.
- Experience in automated software testing.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Good programming skills (Python is the preferred language).
- Desire to understand and address root causes of issues, not just symptoms.
- Ability to work in multitask environment.
- Technical English (Intermediate or higher level is preferred).
Additional qualifications that will be a plus:
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration systems (TeamCity/Jenkins).
- Knowledge of software development practices.
- Knowledge of design patterns and how to create modular, scalable designs.
- Ability to write clean code and cover it by unit tests.
- Understanding of software development tools ecosystem.
- Experience in programming for Windows, Linux and macOS.
