Data Analyst (Trading)

We are looking for a Data Analyst (Trading) to join our Platform Reliability Engineering team.
This is a hands-on research role focused on exchange APIs and raw market data. You will investigate changes in exchange data flows, run experiments, and translate findings into improvements to our trading platform and connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Analyze exchange API changes: connect to exchanges, collect data samples, assess data quality and completeness, compare with existing feeds, and determine whether the changes are worth implementing in the trading platform.
• Investigate relationships between private and public exchange feeds to identify corresponding orders and trades.
• Test market data latency across locations and endpoints, identify dependencies and seasonal patterns, and determine the optimal setup. Document reproducible experiments with supporting evidence and conclusions.
• Translate research findings into technical requirements and validate implemented changes.
• Maintain documentation on exchange APIs, market data feeds, and exchange-specific behavior.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in trading, brokerage, hedge funds, exchanges, or related areas.
• Hands-on experience with exchange data flows, including trades and order book data.
• Practical Python skills for connecting to exchange APIs, collecting and analyzing data, and visualizing results.
• Ability to independently conduct research, test hypotheses, and draw data-driven conclusions.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and understanding of network protocols.
• Ability to work with databases, including basic queries.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
