Middle+ Fullstack QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing (80% of the workload), primarily API testing (REST API, gRPC, Kafka, PostgreSQL) for features with complex business logic.
• Develop and maintain automated tests (primarily API, with some UI automation) using Python.
• Expand test coverage and maintain test artifacts, including checklists, test cases, and test plans.
• Perform release testing and execute test runs.
• Investigate, reproduce, localize, and report defects.
• Plan and execute functional, integration, smoke, regression, automated, and load testing.
• Participate in daily team activities, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Support internal technical channels and collaborate with the engineering team.
• Mentor teammates and actively share knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including experience in a Middle QA Engineer role.
• Strong experience with API testing, including REST API, gRPC, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience in test automation, primarily for APIs, with some UI automation using Python, pytest, Playwright, and GitLab CI.
• Strong proficiency with browser DevTools.
• Experience using AI tools to improve testing and engineering workflows.
• Strong debugging skills, including defect investigation, localization, and reproduction.
• Experience with integration testing.
