CPO (Fintech)

We are looking for an experienced Chief Product Officer to lead product strategy for a locally-regulated digital trading company focused on African markets.

This role requires strong experience building financial products within local regulatory frameworks, with a deep understanding of regional market dynamics, user behavior, and operational specifics.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute product strategy aligned with local regulatory requirements.
• Lead development across different product stages.
• Adapt product offering to local market conditions and customer needs.
• Work closely with technology, compliance, and commercial teams.
• Drive product-market fit within licensed local jurisdictions.

Requirements

• 5+ years in senior product leadership within fintech, brokerage, online trading, or financial services.
• Proven experience working with locally regulated financial products in African or comparable emerging markets.
• Strong understanding of regional compliance, payment infrastructure, and customer behavior.
• Experience launching products under local licensing frameworks.
• Strong execution and commercial mindset.

Preferred:

• Direct experience with African financial regulators or licensed entities.
• Trading or brokerage platform experience.
• Deep understanding of regional market specifics.
