About Plurio

Plurio is an AI agent for performance marketing teams. We're not another dashboard or analytics tool — we're building AI that actually does the work: analyzes campaigns, spots problems, reallocates budgets, and explains what's happening in plain language.

We've raised $4.5M total, with the most recent $3.5M announced in March 2026. We work with marketing teams spending $100K–$5M/month on paid ads (Meta, Google, TikTok) — companies with complex funnels, long conversion chains, subscription and repeat-purchase models, and LTV-driven optimization (think EdTech, FinTech, Consumer Apps, Healthcare, Home Services).

The team is 30+ people, fully remote, and radically AI-first — everyone works in Cursor with a shared workspace. We don't just sell AI; we run on it.

Why This Role Exists

Plurio's product is built on a backend that has to do two hard things at once: serve fast, reliable APIs to a live SaaS product and crunch large analytical datasets that drive marketing attribution, reports, and the AI agent layer on top.

We're growing the team that builds and evolves those backend services — C# microservices on top of MS SQL Server. We need engineers who move comfortably between application code (ASP.NET Core, EF Core, async paths, integrations) and the database (T-SQL, schema, indexes, query plans), and who can ship features end-to-end without dropping quality at the boundary between the two.

If shipping solid C# and owning the SQL behind it sounds right — read on.

What You Will Own

Backend feature development

Build and extend microservices in ASP.NET Core that power our marketing analytics engine — APIs, business logic, integrations with ad platforms and downstream consumers.

Database work

Design and evolve schemas, T-SQL, indexes, and queries that support attribution reports and analytical workloads. Read query plans, find regressions, and tune with measurable before/after.

Performance and scale

Drive optimization across the stack — both in C# (async paths, ORM tuning, batching, caching) and SQL (indexes, statistics, plan stability). Help the platform stay fast as data volume grows.

Architecture and clean engineering

Apply SOLID and design patterns where they earn their keep; keep services small, contracts clear, and migrations safe in a live system.

Quality and operations

Code review, incident analysis, CI/CD with Azure DevOps, Git the way the team does it. AI-assisted coding is part of how we work — we actively use various AI tools (Cursor, Copilot-class tools, and more) and provide team access to premium services; use them where they improve quality and speed, not as a substitute for judgment.

Collaboration with engineering

Partner with product, data, and AI engineering on data model and service boundaries: migrations, backward compatibility, clear contracts between app and database.

You are the Right Person If

Requirements

  • A minimum of four years of hands-on experience in MS SQL and C# development is required.
  • Solid knowledge and application of design patterns and SOLID principles.
  • Experience working with Entity Framework Core (or another production ORM in C#).
  • Proven proficiency in web development, specifically in ASP.NET Core.
  • Experience and interest in AI-assisted coding (we actively use various AI tools and provide team access to premium services).
  • Proficiency in using version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Intermediate+ English language skills and native-level Russian.
  • You live and work in an Americas (US) timezone with reliable overlap on US business hoursrequired.

Providing code examples hosted on Git or other repositories is highly appreciated.

It is Be a Plus If

  • Advanced experience with MS SQL performance tuning (query plans, indexing strategy, columnstore, partitioning).
  • Production experience with RabbitMQ, Docker, observability (Grafana, Prometheus), or Azure DevOps.
  • Blazor experience.
  • Familiarity with marketing attribution concepts — helpful context; C# and SQL skills come first.
  • Public C# or SQL samples on GitHub/GitLab we can read.

What You Can Expect

  • Competitive compensation — aligned with senior backend / SQL experience; specifics discussed individually.
  • Remote, Americas timezone: you must be in an Americas (US) timezone and work US business hours. Nearly all clients and core team collaboration run on US time — timezone overlap is a hard requirement.
  • Home office setup: we provide a laptop, software, and any other tools necessary for work.
  • Professional development: we cover 50% of the costs of relevant educational activities.
  • Vacation: annual leave (twice a year for 2 weeks) + holidays.
  • Employment: via Deel contract.
  • AI-first engineering culture: we use Cursor, Claude, shared AI infrastructure, and premium team access for coding assistance — alongside strong C# and SQL craft.

Hiring Process

  1. Application — CV. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
  2. Intro call (People & Operations, ~30 min) — company overview, background, motivation, logistics.
  3. Technical interview — deep dive on C# / ASP.NET Core / EF Core and MS SQL Server (schema, T-SQL, query plans, real scenarios at the app↔DB boundary).
  4. Final conversation — culture, ways of working, team fit; may include an additional technical touchpoint if needed.
  5. Paid trial period — short, real work, paid.
  6. Offer — if it's a fit, we align on terms and start date.
