Lead Trading Platform Engineer

Our trading operations cover key exchanges. The firm trades across a broad range of asset classes, including equities, equity derivatives, options, commodity futures, rates futures, etc. We employ a diverse and growing array of algorithmic trading strategies, utilizing both HFT and MFT approaches.

Job Description

We're looking for a strong Trading Engineer who wants to stay hands-on — but take full, independent ownership of entire systems end-to-end. If you've built complex platforms from scratch before and know how to develop seriously with AI, this role is for you.

What you will do

• Architect and build large parts of a trading platform from scratch — independently.
• Use LLMs as a force multiplier: AI-driven development by an engineer who deeply understands what they're building.
• Immerse yourself in the business and domain — surface where and how to apply technology, without being told.
• Own the full system: external interfaces, internal logic, integrations — not isolated pieces.
• Operate with CTO-level ownership and product sensibility simultaneously.

Qualifications

Engineering depth

• Built complete, production-grade systems from scratch, ideally more than once.
• Owns a system architecturally.
• Stack doesn't matter much; engineering judgment does.

AI-driven development

• Uses LLMs as a real part of the engineering workflow.
• Understands how models work at a fundamental level.
• Has shipped production systems with AI assistance.

Trading domain

• Built a trading system from scratch — crypto, MFT, HFT, any domain.
• The system ran in production: real capital, real users.
