Senior Backend QA Engineer

About the team

Hi! We are looking for a QA Engineer to take ownership of the quality and stability of our backend services — ranging from APIs and business logic to microservice interactions. This role is perfect for those who enjoy diving deep into system architecture, possess a systematic mindset, and want to make a real impact on a product used by millions of traders worldwide every day.

Responsibilities

• Test mobile applications (functional, UI, usability, localization).
• Analyze and document bugs with clear and detailed reports.
• Investigate and resolve user issues to enhance product quality and UX.
• Review requirements and technical specifications for new features.
• Monitor and maintain the team's backlog, ensuring tasks are properly prioritized.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to improve product quality.
• Maintain internal QA documentation and contribute to process improvements.

What makes you the perfect fit

• 4 years of experience testing mobile applications (iOS/Android).
• Strong understanding of native app architecture and behavior.
• Knowledge of functional, UI, and usability testing approaches.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools and test management systems.
• Ability to write clear, structured, and reproducible bug reports.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines (Kotlin/Swift).
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) instruments.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Will be a plus

• Experience working in platform teams or on infrastructure projects.
• Experience building test infrastructure from scratch.
• Experience in finance or trading domain.
• Familiarity with TradingView as a product.
