Senior Project Manager

We're a performance-driven trading company. Our next growth bottleneck isn't capital or technology — it's people clarity: knowing who's delivering, who isn't, and what needs to change.

We're looking for someone who can diagnose people and teams the way a strong Project Manager diagnoses a broken product: with structure, data, and the willingness to say what others won't. You started your career in a technical role — engineering, analytics, or systems — and that's exactly why you'll earn credibility fast with the teams you'll be assessing.

This role is cross-functional by design. You'll work directly with the CEO and function leads across engineering, trading, and operations — translating messy, qualitative conversations about performance into clean metrics, dashboards, and actionable decisions.

What you will actually do

• Partner with function leads to understand how performance and delivery can be measured in each team — there are no ready-made answers, you'll build them together through structured conversation and iteration.
• Design and own a performance analytics layer — define metrics, build BI dashboards, and maintain a live view of who's delivering and where the bottlenecks are.
• Build and maintain a performance map across the company — who's a force multiplier, who's a bottleneck, who's in the wrong seat.
• Identify weak links before they become expensive — structural issues, misaligned incentives, underperformers who are being carried.
• Advise the CEO on people decisions: who to promote, who to move, who to let go, and how to structure teams for the next stage.
• Use LLMs and data tooling to make your analysis faster and sharper.

Qualifications

You come from a product, tech, or startup environment where you shipped things, measured outcomes, and worked without a playbook. You've managed or closely evaluated teams — you've been in the room when hiring and termination decisions were made, and you had a real opinion that mattered.

You don't need to know trading. You need to get up to speed on any domain fast, ask the right questions, and form a clear view without waiting for perfect information.

Requirements

• Technical background is mandatory: prior hands-on experience as a software engineer, systems analyst, data analyst, or a closely related role.
• Experience as a Senior Project Manager or similar role in a tech/product/startup environment.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally — comfortable navigating different teams, stakeholders, and communication styles to extract signal and build consensus.
• Experience designing and building BI dashboards and working with performance or productivity metrics (building them from scratch).
• Direct involvement in hiring, performance assessment, or termination decisions.
• Comfortable using LLMs as a real work tool, not just aware they exist.
• Analytical enough to build your own frameworks, not rely on off-the-shelf ones.
