The Fullstack Software Engineer independently delivers complex backend and frontend features and services while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, code reviews, and proactive contributions to improving team practices. The role optimizes performance, participates in architectural discussions within their team, and drives improvements in testing, reliability, and scalability. They balance hands-on development with shaping processes that raise the overall quality of the team’s work.

The role is based in our office in Limassol, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.

What you'll actually do

  • Consistently deliver core product features that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Write clean, secure, efficient code, perform thorough testing and debugging, and ensure seamless integration with other components while optimizing for scalability and addressing technical debt.
  • Write well-documented code and automation tests with strong coverage. Improve testing practices across the team.
  • Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and maintain documentation that meets company standards. Constantly work to improve code quality.
  • Tackle complex architectural and performance problems.
  • Drive improvements to service latency, fault tolerance, and resilience in high-load environments.
  • Drive architecture discussions and influence technical decisions not only within the team but also across the department.
  • Prepare clear technical documentation and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
  • Promote and apply clean code principles and best engineering practices.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and contribute to performance optimizations.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for beneficial adoption.
  • Participate in technical interviews, share knowledge with peers, and contribute to improving team processes and standards.
  • Suggest and drive technical improvements.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing growth of team members.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to improve usability.

Who we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of commercial experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, TypeScript.
  • Commercial experience with Golang, Kafka, or other message brokers, relational databases, complex queries, and performance.
  • Experience acting as a code reviewer.
  • Experience with high-load, concurrency, and multithreading backend systems.
  • Microservice development experience.
  • Preferred: Experience in financial/market-based software development or distributed systems.
  • Strong skills in building reliable and scalable services (design, APIs, storage, testing, CI/CD).
  • Solid knowledge of modern development practices (version control, reviews, branching, releases).
  • Solid experience with ORM and DBMS, including database architecture.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, system design, and integration patterns.
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process: design, development, and deployment.
  • Solid experience with DevOps tools and practices: operating systems, monitoring, networking models, virtualization, and containerization.
  • Experience in software testing: unit, integration, and load tests.
  • Experience in debugging, profiling, and code optimizations.
  • English level B2+.

  • Strong understanding of React Native.

The starting salary mentioned is an indicative starting number and the final amount will depend on the personal tax specifics and level of seniority determined during the interview process. This is the base salary only, and the total compensation will also include the performance-based bonus and benefits/allowances.
