About the role
We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Lead to join the infrastructure team. The role is hands-on from day one, with responsibility for the stability and availability of mission-critical systems. Over time, you will also contribute to building and shaping the SRE team and its processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high availability and reliability of production systems.
- Operational management and proactive monitoring of critical infrastructure.
- Incident management, escalation, and mitigation.
- Participation in on-call rotation.
- Debugging and issue classification in C++ and Python codebases.
- Designing and improving observability metrics and system analytics.
- Keeping up with relevant technical and industry updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or similar).
- 5+ years of experience in an SRE role.
- Strong programming skills (Python or Go preferred).
- Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux systems.
- Hands-on experience with Linux-based infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana).
- Ability to identify and drive improvements in complex, high-load environments.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
- English proficiency at B2/Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
- Willingness to work in a new domain and relocate.
