We are looking for someone to join us as a member on iOS team. This means participating in all design and product decisions of the early days of a product centric company.
In the initial months, you'll be working closely with the founding team, gradually taking ownership of central components and features. Given our stage, we're seeking versatile engineers comfortable contributing to various aspects of the company's foundation.
We value team members who delve deep into their respective domains, aiming to cultivate a team of subject matter experts with a high sense of ownership. This commitment to expertise is an expectation for every team member.
Feature Development
Being responsible for delivering unique, high-quality UI that features in a fast-moving environment. You’ll also be within a close knit team that holds a great scope of accountability and ownership. We like to push the technical envelope, for example, being ready for advanced usage of shaders on iOS to build crazy effects on various media.
Platform Development
Participating in the creation and improvements of the platform, in order to increase the velocity and quality of the work of the whole development team. This will include joining in writing careful abstractions that other iOS team members also use, such as Media encoding, decoding and playback; libraries that incorporate performance tracing along with associated internal tooling; our own components for dealing with Navigation and Deeplinks across apps etc.
Roadmap Creation and Ideation
You’ll also be an active contributor of the roadmap creation and ideation. You’ll be expected to help identify the right tradeoffs and bring ideas from a product and engineering perspective.
Knowledge Sharing
We love learning from each other, so we push ourselves to stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in writing Apple Software. So we’ll be highly encouraging you to attend conferences, participate in online communities, and share your learnings internally.
Owning your scope
You will be responsible for monitoring analytics and managing system crashes. We value engineers who take ownership of their scope, and proactively address issues and triage bug fixes.
We are hiring multiple engineers of varying levels, so please indicate your years of experience on the application form to apply for the appropriate position.
We wanted to make sure coming to the office was as comfortable as possible for you:
Because life outside of work should also be stress-free, we cover:
We shut down entirely twice a year, two weeks in summer and one week in winter to allow everyone to truly recharge and to avoid prolonged slowdowns (especially in the summer). These pauses are part of your total vacation time, giving everyone a real chance to unplug and recharge. No Slack, no email, no FOMO.
We love the diverse perspectives we get from having people from all over the world join us (68% of our team is international), and so we of course support relocation to Paris with:

Amo is a social technology company that develops consumer applications focused on online communication between friends. The company positions itself as a multi-app ecosystem where a single user profile and social graph are shared across products.
Its product portfolio includes ID, Bump, and Sugar. ID provides a collaborative social profile, Bump focuses on mapping friends and places, and Sugar enables chat-based communication using a free-form canvas instead of traditional messaging interfaces.
All amo applications are connected through a unified account system, allowing users to move between apps without reconfiguring profiles, settings, or connections. New applications can be introduced independently without being constrained by a single app interface.
The company states that it builds standalone applications rather than a single super-app, with each product designed around a specific use case. Product development follows a principle of iterative experimentation across multiple apps.
Amo defines internal principles that guide product decisions, including prioritizing creation over passive consumption and avoiding engagement driven by metrics such as likes or followers. The company emphasizes responsibility in designing products intended for long-term use in social communication.
