The key objective in the updated development process for the Origination product unit is to manage the execution timeline of a portfolio of competing projects. In this process, System Design, performed by the unit's Solution Architect, serves as the formal entry point for all new initiatives.
Given that the Project Manager oversees the simultaneous execution of projects that may have resource or functional conflicts, deep immersion into task priorities is required. Primary focus is placed on the proactive identification of bottlenecks in the development process and meticulous risk analysis and management to ensure timely delivery. The Project Manager carries out these activities by coordinating the work of 6 development teams within the unit.

- Manage multiple concurrent projects and balance the prioritization of project schedules.
- Identify and comprehend the overall project scope. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones, proactively identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path across multiple work streams.
- Conduct scheduled project status meetings; provide regular reporting on project updates, escalate any actions, decisions, and risks as necessary to management.
- Manage relationships with key decision makers from project inception to post-deployment while simultaneously ensuring end-user satisfaction.
- Effectively facilitate cross-functional, technical, and business process discussions in a productive manner.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals and work with other department managers to obtain commitments on assignments.
What makes you a great fit
- 2+ years experience in payments (Issuer/Acquirer/Card network/Payment Gateway, etc.).
- Understanding of the wider FinTech industry, mobile payments, global banking, Card network and associated regulatory requirements.
- Solid understanding of Payment entities (Domestic & international Card Network, Issuing bank, Acquiring bank, PSPs, Payment Gateways, etc.).
- Strong communication skills; excellent time management skills.
- Fluent level of spoken English.
- Ability to create clear and concise written and oral communications, including: emails, letters, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Ability to think critically while working both independently and as part of a team is required.
