We are hiring remote specialists who have already relocated from Russia.
We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer with experience in a startup environment, who is ready to build and refine testing processes (TestOps) and contribute to the development of CI/CD infrastructure.
This role goes beyond traditional testing — it’s about creating a culture of quality, integrating QA into every stage of development, and building scalable processes that support the company’s growth.
Optimize and maintain CI/CD pipelines together with DevOps and engineering teams.
Manage and enhance the approach to test documentation — establish best practices for creating, maintaining, and organizing test cases and test plans.
Detect, analyze, and isolate defects; report and track them using issue management tools.
Oversee implementation processes and live integrations; advise on improvements.
Be a reliable and friendly source of feedback on new functionality and features.
Validate bug fixes and ensure release stability.
Coordinate QA activities according to release schedules and provide regular updates to the development team.
Mentor QA teammates and contribute to the overall quality strategy of the company.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 1 year as a Senior QA or QA Lead.
Experience in building QA processes and implementing TestOps practices.
Solid knowledge of testing theory (from static testing to test design techniques).
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ability to clearly explain best practices.
Strong SQL skills (SELECTs, JOINs, subqueries).
Experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
Good understanding of how the Internet works, including modern web and API architectures.
Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and diagnostic skills.
Experience with testing tools from our stack or similar alternatives.
Nice to have
Interest in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and banking.
ISTQB certification.
Experience with automation testing (Playwright, Cypress, etc.).
Experience as a Release Manager or managing QA pipelines.
Experience in the FinTech industry.
