Senior DevOps Engineer

A Dubai-based HFT fund is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to evolve and scale its infrastructure. The role focuses on maintaining and improving stability and speed under highload, performance tuning, and driving direct impact on the company’s PnL.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop geo-distributed compute clusters with thousands of CPU cores.
• Optimize internal and external latency through the improvement of our physical and cloud infrastructure.
• Work with complex provisioning and deployment architectures using Terraform, Pulumi, and Ansible.
• Develop and maintain monitoring systems handling hundreds of megabits of metrics per second.
• Automate and enhance build pipelines.
• Implement and improve platform solutions that empower teams to operate effectively within the company’s infrastructure.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent understanding of IP networking principles.
• Experience administering network hardware.
• Experience setting up networks in cloud providers (ideally AWS).
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform.
• Strong experience administering Linux/FreeBSD servers.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• English B2+.

Nice to have

• Experience in HFT.
• Knowledge of Nix/NixOS.
