About the Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll join a high-caliber team at the intersection of design and engineering. You will own the development of intuitive, performant, and secure web applications built on Squads Protocol. You’ll work across product, design, and engineering to shape user experiences from ideation to production, with full ownership of feature development. This role is ideal for someone who wants autonomy, thrives in rapidly evolving environments, and wants to make an outsized impact in a fast-moving Web3 environment.

Core Expertise

• Demonstrated expertise (5+ years) in building and delivering high-performance, visually refined web applications, with a deep understanding of browser fundamentals, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and advanced TypeScript features.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development best practices.
• You approach product engineering with a user-first mindset, proactively shaping features and interfaces to deliver intuitive, delightful, and accessible experiences.
• Solid grasp of systems design, debugging, and application performance.
• Experience working with REST APIs and backend systems (e.g., MySQL, GCP).
• Strong communication skills and comfort with ambiguity—able to propose and lead solutions proactively.

Bonus Points:

• Experience in the fintech environment and/or building on B2B applications.
• Interest or experience in hybrid design-engineering roles.
• Portfolio of UI/UX work and familiarity with Figma.
• Knowledge of blockchain UX patterns and product flows.
• Experience with Solana development (wallet adapters, token programs, client SDKs).
