Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Kuwait, UULA has become the dominant EdTech name in Kuwaiti households. Our mission is to provide access to high-quality and custom-made education to all learners in the GCC. We are currently expanding our product internationally to make this vision a reality.

Our subscription-based SaaS platform is available via iOS, Android, and web. It has disrupted traditional educational systems and won the trust of our users, earning a 72% Net Promoter Score.

The platform is passionately supported by a closely-knit team working remotely across the Middle East and Europe. But we also like to travel on a seasonal basis to work together in an “international sprint” and mini “team sprints”.

We look forward to bringing UULA to other GCC countries, developing the platform further as we fulfill our mission and continue to be a trusted success partner to students.

Culture

People who flourish at UULA are passionate about education and are inherently aligned with our values and performance-based culture:

  • Judgement & Problem Solving: You can identify the root causes of issues, find their solutions, communicate them effectively, and prioritize their implementation wisely.
  • Communication: You listen well, are concise in how you speak, treat others with respect, and remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Impact: You are self-driven and understand the big picture, which allows you to independently determine your objectives and accomplish amazing amounts of work.
  • Curiosity & Ownership: You understand that you are responsible for your own growth and are a lifelong learner that seeks out knowledge rather than waiting to receive information.
  • Innovation: You can break down complex issues and are willing to challenge assumptions.
  • Courage & honesty: You are willing to have honest, straightforward, and difficult conversations with colleagues today to avoid awkward situations tomorrow.
