Senior Product Designer

What you'll do:

• Design clean and functional experiences for the new product features on our roadmap.
• Conceptualize and define a design strategy that supports customer needs and business goals. Provide detailed end-to-end workflows and user flows illustrating the solution.
• Test the design prototypes with the users, learn from them and perfect the designs.
• Craft microcopy that is easy to understand, short and to the point.
• Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes, understanding when deeper exploration is warranted and when it is best to change paths and try another approach.
• Identify the bottlenecks in our current product flows (onboarding, user activation etc) and drive the initiatives to improve them.
• Be autonomous. Take full ownership of your work and full responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way, from whiteboard sketching to high-fidelity final treatments.
• Facilitate ideation workshops, gather and test ideas rapidly, using A/B tests, user interviews, surveys and other quantitative and qualitative techniques as needed and mentor the team on how to do that.
• Take into account existing insights, technical constraints, business needs, and specific market demands to produce data-informed solutions.
• Participate in user research to gather and evaluate user requirements.
• Plan and design intuitive information architecture, craft accurate messaging and undertones dictated by the project.
• Closely collaborate with product management, engineering, compliance and business development teams to help make DWG feel like a delightful continuum across every touchpoint.
• Advocate user needs throughout the development lifecycle in an agile/iterative environment to ensure problem-solution fit.
• Verify and improve on designs through reviews, validations and formal usability testing with end users.
• Become a subject matter expert with the ability to understand the latest architecture, technology, solution, market trends, as well as competitive offerings related to venture capital, startup fundraising, equity crowdfunding, DeFi and blockchain technologies.

What they are looking for

• 5+ years years of experience in a similar role at consumer-focused design-centric product companies; experience in designing native iOS apps, android is a plus.
• Extremely detail-oriented, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of usability and user experience principles.
• Expert skills defining and analyzing user flows and workflows.
• Expert skills in interaction design with a grasp of UCD process.
• Story telling - ability to tell simple user stories illustrating solutions, to speak confidently to your own design work and convince others of your reasoning.
• Strong leader and proven team player in a high achievement-oriented environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Agile, adaptable, and capable of delivering new products and features.
• Possess a very high level of comfort in working with developers in the presentation layer.
• Experience in working with tools such as Figma, Miro and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with user research is a plus.
• Good aesthetic sense will be helpful.
• Strong prototyping skills.
