System Analyst

We are looking for a Systems Analyst to join our Research team and support the evaluation and selection of trading technology solutions. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze market offerings, assess vendor solutions, and define system requirements for next-generation trading platforms.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
• Research trading systems and vendor solutions, organize meetings, and collect information.
• Conduct comparative analysis of platforms (functionality, integration options, cost, risks).
• Prepare recommendations for system selection and support decision-making processes.
• Create business and functional requirement documents, comparison tables, and presentations.
• Participate in planning and execution of PoCs and pilot projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a systems analyst, preferably in a trading (buy-side or sell-side) environment.
• Experience in IT solution selection or implementation, ideally in trading systems.
• Knowledge of BPMN, UML, REST API, and SQL.
• Skilled in preparing business/functional specs and comparative analysis.
• Understanding of data formats such as JSON, XML, and FIX protocol.
• Familiarity with exchange trading workflows and accounting fundamentals.
• Strong grasp of financial instruments (securities and derivatives).
• Ability to analyze vendor offerings and lead technical discussions.
• Advanced SQL skills and ability to read logs or code (Rust, Python, C++ is a plus).
