We are looking for an experienced HR Manager / HR Director to act as a strategic partner to business leadership, overseeing the entire employee lifecycle — from hiring and onboarding to development, performance, motivation, and offboarding. This person will also be responsible for employment documentation and ensuring compliance with tax and labor regulations. You’ll work in a fast-paced, international environment and have the autonomy to build and optimize HR processes from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, supporting organizational goals through people-related solutions.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across various roles — from job briefing, sourcing (job boards, social media, direct outreach, referrals), interviewing, and selection to offer preparation and onboarding.
- Prepare all employment documentation: contracts, offer letters, NDAs, internal policies, onboarding checklists, etc.
- Coordinate tax compliance and employment-related registrations across jurisdictions in partnership with Finance and external consultants (if applicable).
- Build, support, and adapt HR processes: onboarding, probation review, ongoing performance check-ins, development planning.
- Conduct regular and ad hoc 1:1 meetings with employees to assess motivation, engagement, and address concerns.
- Provide guidance to managers and team leads on topics such as team structure, employee relations, performance issues, motivation, and conflict resolution.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees for any HR-related queries or issues.
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives, create tailored growth plans, and track employee progress.
- Monitor employee satisfaction and engagement via surveys, pulse checks, and regular feedback loops.
- Lead offboarding process: exit interviews, final paperwork, and ensuring smooth transitions.
- Maintain and improve internal HR policies, procedures, and compliance documentation in accordance with legal requirements and internal standards.
- Provide HR support for international or remote teams, including working with external payroll/tax/legal providers where needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced, cross-border, or holding company environment.
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, HR operations, and employment documentation.
- Solid understanding of labor law and basic tax obligations related to employment (especially across different jurisdictions).
- Ability to build scalable HR processes and adapt to changing business needs.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Experience with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, etc.) and confident using Excel/GDocs.
